Function: Outbound Lead (Senior SDR), Job Description, Amura & Kylas
Experience: 3-4 Years
Location: Pune (On-Site)
About Amura
Amura is India's leading growth and marketing company for B2B brands across the globe. We bring two decades of experience engineering growth for B2B businesses, with over $100M in ad spend managed across 300+ companies, and we are now expanding our own outbound into the US and EU.
The role
The Outbound Lead is an experienced SDR who runs Amura's outbound engine. You decide what gets sent, to whom, and why, and you check every week whether it is working.
You are the operator. You write the requirements, test what is built, watch the numbers and keep improving the system. You work closely with our Account Executive, who takes qualified leads into pitches, and with the marketing and service teams behind our standardised packages.
What you will own
You own four things: outbound results, the health of the outbound system, the junior SDR team, and the handoff to the AE.
Outbound for the India and Global
- Define the ideal customer profile, target account tiers and messaging for each of our standardised service packages in each market
- Plan and run outbound across cold calling, email and LinkedIn, including ABM plays for priority accounts
- Write and test sequences, offers and call scripts, and keep a log of what works by package and market
- Run outreach within GDPR, PECR and CAN-SPAM rules, with clean opt-out handling
Running the system with the tech team
- Turn what you need into clear briefs for the tech team: data sources, enrichment steps, sequences, routing rules and reports
- Test every build before it goes live and report issues with clear examples
- Watch deliverability, bounce and reply rates, lead response time and data quality, and raise problems early
- Keep the CRM (Kylas) clean, with lead stages and the definition of a qualified lead applied the same way every time
Leading the junior SDRs
- Set daily and weekly cadences, targets and call standards for the SDR team
- Run the calling team: listen to live and recorded calls, use a scorecard, refine scripts and call lists, and give regular feedback
- Coach on conversations, objection handling and qualification, using call and reply reviews
- Train the team to use AI tools for research and first drafts, with human review before anything is sent to priority accounts
Handoff and reporting
- Pass qualified leads to the AE with a short brief covering the account, the contact, the package of interest and what was discussed
- Publish a weekly report on meetings booked, qualified pipeline, cost per meeting and experiments run, in plain language that the founders can act on
Tools you should know
You use these tools daily as an operator. You do not need to build integrations yourself, because the tech team does that, but you should be able to set up and run campaigns end to end.
| Function | Tools | Level |

| Lead data and enrichment | Apollo, Clay, LinkedIn Sales Navigator | Must know Apollo or Clay |
| Signal and data sourcing | Clay, Apify, PhantomBuster, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Reddit and X data through APIs or scraping tools, job boards and directories | Must know |
| CRM | Kylas, HubSpot or Salesforce | Must know one, quick to learn Kylas |
| Calling and LinkedIn | A dialer or cloud calling tool, LinkedIn outreach | Must know |
| Email health | SPF, DKIM, DMARC, Google Postmaster Tools, verification tools such as ZeroBounce or NeverBounce, multi-domain and mailbox setups | Must understand at scale |
| AI for research and drafts | ChatGPT, Claude or similar | Must know |
| Reporting | Google Sheets, CRM dashboards, Looker Studio | Good to know |
| Automation | n8n, Make or Zapier at a basic level | Plus |
Compliance basics. You should understand cold email rules for the US and EU: CAN-SPAM in the US, and GDPR and PECR in Europe, including lawful basis, opt-out handling and which contacts can be approached, plus the calling rules that apply to calls into the US and EU.
What we are looking for
We want someone with 3 to 4 years of outbound experience who has booked meetings with US or EU buyers and has run the system around it, not only the calls. Our goal is to reach 100,000 outbound emails a month, so we want people who have seen the challenges of running outbound at that scale.
- 3 to 4 years as an SDR, BDR or outbound specialist in B2B SaaS or services, selling to US or EU buyers
- Cold calling experience with US or EU prospects: getting past gatekeepers, handling objections, running a short discovery and booking meetings from calls
- A record of meetings booked and qualified pipeline, with numbers you can share
- Has run or worked closely on high-volume outbound and knows how to keep it healthy as volume grows: multiple domains and mailboxes, warmup, sending limits, bounces, spam complaints, blacklists, list decay and reply handling
- Builds lists from buying intent, not just filters. You know how to find signals such as hiring posts, job changes, funding, tech changes, LinkedIn posts and engagers, Reddit threads where people ask for recommendations, X posts and review sites, and turn them into prioritised lists with a reason to reach out
- Collects data from LinkedIn, Reddit, X, job boards and directories using tools like Clay, Apify, PhantomBuster, Sales Navigator and APIs, then cleans, verifies and enriches it
- Built your own sequences, lists and enrichment flows in tools such as Instantly, Apollo or Clay, and tracked reply rates and deliverability
- Brings fresh ideas on data sources, triggers and angles, and can show one non-obvious list or play of yours that produced meetings
- Experience with ABM or account-based outreach to named accounts
- Able to write clear briefs for engineers and test what they build
- Experience leading or coaching a calling team: listening to calls, using scorecards, refining scripts and giving regular feedback to junior SDRs
- Excellent written and spoken English, with a natural fit for US and EU business culture
- Comfortable working hours that overlap with US and EU time zones
- Data-minded: you check the numbers, find what is not working and run tests to fix it
Good to have
These are plus points and not requirements.
- A background in marketing, such as demand generation, content, SEO, paid media or ABM, which helps you understand what we sell and write about it well
- Experience in an agency or services business, or selling marketing or growth services
- Depth in Clay, including waterfall enrichment and AI-assisted personalisation
- Light scripting or automation skills in n8n, Make or Python
- Experience selling to manufacturing, real estate, education or pharma buyers
- Experience leading a small team or running a pod of SDRs
